MEET OUR FOUNDER

POWDA was founded in 2021 by Alexandra Stefanczyk, former model. Alexandra spent over 10 years working with beauty and skin care brands as an ambassador, and skin expert. She was trained by more than 50 different world wide companies, from beauty giants to organic, natural, and start ups. As a skin expert, she had privilege not only to try the products, but also to gain inside information, as to the ingredients being used.

"I wanted to break this old-fashion idea, of what skin care should look like and what makes a great skincare.

Based on my unique experience, allowing me to get close and personal with so many beauty brands- I learned an awful lot...it was a privilege that not many people have had and it has given me the confidence to create my own skincare line- starting with my lifetime favorite- algae face masks."

POWDA focus on what makes a great skincare- INGREDIENTS! And who said that skincare only needs to be in liquid form?

We use raw powdered ingredients, that are water- soluble, which means no stabilizers, no emulsifiers, no parabens, no mineral oils...the list goes on. What you DO get are the purest, most concentrated ingredients that only activated when mixed with water.

Let's take vitamin C. Many of the creams and serums boast about how brightening they are, rich in antioxidants, however, vitamin C begins to lose its efficiency when in contact with CO2, deeming it's less active before you even open the bottle. Powdered vitamin C on the other hand, remains inactive until you are ready to use it.

On top of all that, powdered skin care-means longer shelf life and they are great when you travel (because it's not liquid) yeeey!

Also, it is much harder for dried beauty products to degrade or to be spoilt by environmental factors-be it heat, oxygen exposure etc. Powders are a great option for people who have sensitive skin or allergy-prone skin, because they contain less irritants and are alcohol-free.
